D.U.E. Season Charter School recognizes that parent/families are the child's first and most influential teachers. Over thirty years of research has proven beyond dispute that the positive connection between parental involvement in the education of children contributes greatly to student achievement and a positive school environment.

Parents are diverse in culture, language, and needs. They share the school's commitment to the educational success of their children. A child's education is shared by the school, family and community during the entire period the child spends in school. To support the goal of D.U.E. Season Charter School to educate all students effectively, staff, parents, and community members must work as knowledgeable partners. Our school, in collaboration with parents/family and community continues to establish programs and practices that enhance parent involvement and reflect the specific needs of students and their families.

D.U.E. Season Charter School actively engages parents and families to collaborate and create a shared responsibility for student success. In D.U.E. Season Charter School, the time and talents of all families are welcomed and valued. Parents are encouraged to become meaningfully involved in the school community and in their own children's learning.
