1. What
is D.U.E. Season Charter School? D.U.E.
Season Charter School is a new
public charter school approved for
a September 2005 opening for all grade-
eligible students in Camden, New Jersey.
D.U.E. Season, like all charter
schools is open to all students, is
independent of the local Board of Education
of the district of residence, and
is tuition free.
2. What
does D.U.E. mean? D.U.E. is an acronym,
which stands for Distinctions in
Urban Education.
3. Who
can attend D.U.E. Season
Charter
School? Enrollment preference is given
to children to the charter schools
district of residence. If space permits,
students who reside outside Camden,
New Jersey, may attend. Students must
first register in their district and
transfer to D.U.E. Season Charter School.
D.U.E. Season Charter School does
not discriminate in admission policies on the
basis of intellectual or athletic
ability, measures of achievement or aptitude,
status as a handicapped person, proficiency
in the English language, or any
other basis, which is deemed illegal
if used by district boards of education.

4. What
grades will be serviced at D.U.E. Season Charter School? Admissions at
D.U.E. Season Charter School are unique.
We will be a K-8 school by
September 2008.
5. Will
the students of D.U.E. Season Charter School wear uniforms? Yes. All
students will wear uniforms (More information).

What

How do I register my child(ren) for class? Application
must be completed and
submitted by the due date. You
can download the application here or you can
Contact Us at the D.U.E. Season Charter
School office.
8. Will
meals be provided? Yes. Lunch will
be provided as free, reduced, or paid,
based upon completion of the
Lunch Application, available at time of
enrollment.
9. How
is transportation provided for students at D.U.E. Season
Charter School?
D.U.E. Season Charter School
students are entitled to transportation in
accordance with N.J.A. C. 6A:
27-3.1(a) and with the procedures established
for students in the City of
Camden School District. Special Education students
will be provided transportation
according the same guidelines unless special
transportation is indicated
in the students IEP in which case, the requirements
of the IEP will be satisfied.
D.U.E. Season Charter School will provide
applications for eligible students
parents or guardians and walk them through

10. Does
D.U.E. Season Charter School have a Parent Organization?
Yes.
D.U.E. Season Charter
School has a parent organization and all parents are
encouraged to participate.
It is through this organization that parents are
informed and empowered
