Admissions
D.U.E. Season Charter School is a K-8 (phase in schedule) public school of
choice located in the city of Camden, New Jersey scheduled to open in September
2005. D.U.E. Season will provide students with a warm and supportive learning
environment and permeated with protective factors to counter risk exposure.
D.U.E. Season Charter School pillars of focus are performing arts, character
education, and technology as vehicles for learning and student success.
Phase-In Schedule:
- September 2005 Grades K, 1, 2, and 5
- September 2006 Grades K, 1, 2, 3, 5, and 6
- September 2007 Grades K, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7
- September 2008 Grades K – 8
Eligibility
- Open to all students in Camden City on a space-available basis.
- Students will be selected following the recruitment period through scheduled public lotteries.
- Enrollment preference will be given the students of Camden City. Other students will be admitted, space permitting, following an out of district lottery.
Wait List
- Applicants who are not admitted in the initial lottery will be placed on a Wait List.
- Applicants will remain on the Wait List through the subsequent school year.
